Google Trends Explore API

Compare up to five search terms on Google Trends: interest over time and by region, and related topics and queries.

GET | POST /v1/google-trends/explore

Send parameters as a query string with GET, or as a JSON body with POST. Both are equivalent.

Parameters

`terms`	string	yes	Up to five search terms to compare, separated by commas.
`category`	integer ≥ 0		A Trends category id, to measure the terms within it (0 = all categories).
`country`	enum		The country, as an ISO 3166 code. `from`	string		A custom period's first day (`YYYY-MM-DD`), or hour within the past week (`YYYY-MM-DDTHH`), with `to`.
`lang`	string		Interface language: the language of topic names and labels (`en`, `pt-BR`).
`lowVolume`	enum \| boolean		Include regions with low search volume in interest by region.
`property`	enum		Which Google search: web (default), images, news, shopping or youtube. `web` `images` `news` `shopping` `youtube`
`resolution`	enum		Interest by region by country, region, metro (US only) or city. Default: the next level below the place asked. `country` `region` `metro` `city`
`subregion`	string		A state, province or US metro inside `country` (`US-CA`, `US-CA-807`), instead of the whole country.
`timeRange`	enum		The period: the past hour, 4 hours, day, week (7 days), month, quarter (3 months), year (12 months, the default), 5 years, or `all` (since 2004). `hour` `4hours` `day` `week` `month` `quarter` `year` `5years` `all`
`to`	string		A custom period's last day (`YYYY-MM-DD`) or hour (`YYYY-MM-DDTHH`), with `from`.

Response

Returns TrendsExplore in data. A real response, shortened: arrays keep their first entries and long text is cut.

Errors

Status	Code	Meaning
400	`INVALID_PARAMS`	A parameter is missing, unknown or out of range, or the engine does not take it. The message names it.
401	`UNAUTHORIZED`	The `x-api-key` header is missing, or the key is revoked or unknown.
402	`INSUFFICIENT_BALANCE`	The balance does not cover this call. Top up in the dashboard.
429	`MARKETPLACE_SATURATED`	Too many concurrent calls. Retry after the `Retry-After` seconds.
502	`UPSTREAM_ERROR`	The engine answered with something unusable. Retry with backoff.
503	`SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE`	A temporary failure. Retry with backoff.

Every code is listed in Errors. Failed calls are not billed.

Pricing

Price $0.0012 per call. List price; the rate steps down above 1,000 calls a day.

Notes

Values are relative interest from 0 to 100, measured against the busiest point of the request. A 0 is a value Trends stated.
For a custom period, pass from and to instead of timeRange.
