price is not 100% on search because Walmart's marketplace-seller listings sometimes show a range
rather than a price. badges is low because most items simply have none.
Walmart is one of only two marketplaces here that returns reviewAspects (Amazon is the other), and it
carries returnsPolicy and brandUrl more reliably than any of the others.
The Filter Rail
Every Walmart search returns facets — the site's own filter groups for that query — and facets are
free. One socks search carries 25 groups: Price, Brand and
Customer Rating map onto typed parameters, and the rest (Sock Rise, Sleeve Length, Fabric Material,
Colour…) are reachable only through facets. See
Filters.
Things Specific to Walmart
Variants are not separately fetchable. Sizes and colours are SKUs inside one product, so
variant.productId is absent.
Both Walmart and marketplace sellers appear. seller.name distinguishes them; a Walmart-fulfilled
item and a third-party one carry different delivery promises.
Grocery items carry unitPrice. Walmart and Amazon are the two that state price per unit of
measure, which is the only way to compare a 12-pack against a 24-pack.
