What can the Social media API do?
The Social media API returns public profiles, posts, comments and media from Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, Threads, TikTok, X, and YouTube. Every platform answers in one social schema (accounts, posts, comments, media and groups), with each platform's own extras kept under ext.
Operations are named for what they return: profile, posts, comments. Pass a handle, an id or a link, and page with the cursor each response carries. Every operation, parameter and cost is in the API reference.

Frequently asked questions
Which platforms are covered?
Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, Threads, TikTok, X, and YouTube. Each one's operations, parameters and costs are in the API reference.
Why call an API instead of writing my own scraper?
One call returns a profile, a post or a page of posts as JSON, with no browser to run and no HTML to parse. Every platform answers in the same social schema, fields are only ever added inside v1, and a request that fails is not billed.
Do I need an account on the platform?
No. You only need your Apinoa key. The API returns public data: what anyone can see without logging in.
Can I use a profile link instead of a handle?
Yes. Operations that take a handle or an id also take the page's link.
How do I page through posts or comments?
Each list returns a cursor. Pass it back on its own as cursor to get the next page; limit sets the page size where the platform allows it.
Is every platform returned in the same shape?
Yes, in one social schema: accounts, posts, comments, media and groups use the same fields everywhere. What only one platform has is kept under ext.
What does a request cost?
Social calls are billed at the marketplace price, per request, and that price falls as your daily volume grows. Most operations cost one request; the few that cost more say so in the API reference.
