AliExpress Data API Pricing 2026 — Every Provider Compared, $0 to $5/1K
Search for an AliExpress data API and you'll find prices ranging from free to $30,000/month. Same "AliExpress API" label, two-orders-of-magnitude apart. What's actually happening?
This post compares 12 major providers as of May 2026 — not just sticker per-call rate, but the JS-rendering surcharges, endpoint coverage gaps, and hidden constraints that decide actual cost.
TL;DR — by use case
- <1K calls/month (PoC, side project): AliExpress Open Platform — official, free, but affiliate data only
- 10K–100K raw scraping: Decodo, Scrapfly, ScraperAPI ($0.10–$0.50 per 1K)
- 100K+ with structured response: Oxylabs, Bright Data ($0.40–$1.30 per 1K)
- Enterprise (1M+ committed): Zyte API ($0.06 per 1K HTTP committed)
- Need image search + Korean billing/docs: Apinoa ($1.50–$4 per 1K)
Why prices vary so wildly
AliExpress data flows from one of four delivery models:
- Official — Aliyun Open Platform: free, affiliate-only data, 1–2 day approval, 30-day token rotation
- Generic scraping APIs — proxy + JS-render infra rented out (Oxylabs, Bright Data, ScrapingBee, Decodo)
- Marketplace actors — individual scrapers on Apify and RapidAPI billed per-result
- Structured SaaS APIs — raw data parsed + image search + i18n on top (Apinoa)
Same "1,000 calls" can cost $0 (#1), $0.10–$1.50 (#2), $5 (#3), or $1.50–$4 (#4). Plus hidden multipliers — JS rendering 5–25× sticker price, premium proxy surcharges, success-only billing edge cases.
Master pricing table — 12 providers
Sorted by lowest achievable per-1K rate. All quotes verified 2026-05-07 from public pricing pages. RapidAPI tier-level prices require an authenticated session, so they're not in this main table — see next section.
- 1. AliExpress Open Platform (official): $0 — 5,000 QPS after approval, affiliate scope
- 2. Zyte API (HTTP, $500/mo committed): $0.06/1K — AI auto-extract, success-only billing
- 3. Scrapingdog Nova Pro: $0.027/1K at scale ~ $0.20 small — no dedicated AliExpress endpoint, generic only
- 4. ScrapingBee Business+ ($599/mo): $0.075/1K credit — but JS render 5×, premium proxy 25× → effective $0.40–$5.60
- 5. Scrapfly Startup ($250/mo): $0.09/1K — generic scraper, no dedicated AliExpress
- 6. ScraperAPI Scaling ($475/mo): $0.10/1K — generic, no dedicated AliExpress
- 7. Decodo $99 plan: $0.14/1K — dedicated AliExpress endpoint (product/reviews/seller), 99.99% SLA
- 8. WebScrapingAPI Business ($99/mo): $0.14/1K — generic
- 9. Zyte (browser, committed): $0.48/1K — dynamic pages
- 10. Oxylabs Advanced ($249/mo): $0.40 (enterprise) ~ $1.15/1K — 3 dedicated AliExpress endpoints
- 11. Bright Data Scale ($499/mo): $1.30/1K — pre-built collectors + dataset marketplace
- 12. Apify cryptosignals actor: $5.00/1K — search/details/reviews/seller, pay-per-result (rental retired Oct 2025)
RapidAPI marketplace is its own category
RapidAPI hosts 7–10 AliExpress data APIs from individual sellers. The pattern is consistent:
- BASIC free tier: 100–500 req/mo hard cap
- PRO ~$10–25/mo / ULTRA ~$50–75 / MEGA ~$150+
- Coverage usually limited to product details + search; some include reviews + seller
- Stability caveat: individual operators, no SLA, endpoints can disappear or hike pricing without warning
- Exact tier prices require a logged-in session on each provider's pricing page
Notable providers: vladdnepr1989, mahmudulhasandev, ecommdatahub, salesngine, rene.meuselwitz, georgekhananaev, leanhducvt — all tagged "AliExpress unofficial".
Endpoint coverage matrix
Pricing alone is misleading — "AliExpress API" doesn't mean the same data set across providers.
- Search: covered by everyone
- Product details: covered by everyone
- Reviews: Decodo, Bright Data, ScrapingBee, Apify cryptosignals — partial set
- Seller info: Decodo, Bright Data, ScrapingBee — partial
- Sponsored ads: nobody (no public endpoint exists)
- Reverse image search (find by image): nobody except Apinoa
Three most common hidden costs
1. JS rendering multipliers
ScrapingBee charges 1 credit base, 5 for JS render, 25 for premium proxy, 75 for stealth. AliExpress is heavily dynamic so JS rendering is effectively mandatory — sticker price × 5 to × 25 in real billing.
2. Success-only billing edge cases
Bright Data and Zyte advertise "pay only for success" — sounds great, but you need solid retry/timeout handling or you'll trip budget caps. Get the implementation wrong and the cap blocks you mid-campaign.
3. Marketplace actor maintenance risk
Apify's epctex/aliexpress-scraper is currently "Under maintenance" (2026-05). dtrungtin/aliexpress-price-scraper is marked DEPRECATED. Depending on a single individual's actor means it can break or get pulled with no notice.
Where Apinoa sits
Apinoa is category #4 — structured SaaS API. Not a raw scraper. Direct comparison:
- Starter $20/mo, 5,000 calls = $4/1K — pricier than raw scrapers
- Pro $80/mo, 30,000 calls = $2.67/1K
- Scale $200/mo, 100,000 calls = $2/1K — close to Bright Data $1.30
- Business $300/mo, 200,000 calls = $1.50/1K — same neighborhood as Bright Data
- Enterprise: negotiable, sub-$1/1K at high volumes
So why pay more than raw scrapers?
- Response is already structured JSON — Oxylabs has OxyParser but still some work; other raw scrapers leave HTML parsing to you
- Reverse image search: only Apinoa among the 12 surveyed
- Korean-market focus: KRW billing, Korean docs/support, single key shared with Image Translation API for Korean-market pipelines
- Stability: vendor-operated, not a single individual; SLA 99.5–99.9%
Which fits which team
Aliyun Open Platform — fit:
- AliExpress affiliate marketing (referral links + hot products)
- Small ops where one admin can handle approvals manually
- Teams that can automate 30-day token rotation
Decodo / Oxylabs / Bright Data — fit:
- 100K+ monthly volume, data team comfortable with raw scraping
- Owns its parsing layer (HTML → JSON)
- Global market needs (multi-language data sets)
- Reviews + seller info coverage matters
RapidAPI marketplace actors — fit:
- PoC, MVP, learning projects
- Need exactly one endpoint (e.g. search only)
- Personal project, very price-sensitive
Apinoa — fit:
- Korean sellers sourcing from China + automating Korean marketplace listings (integrates with Image Translation API)
- Reverse image search for trend discovery
- Wants structured responses without building an ETL/parsing layer
- Needs KRW billing, tax invoice (세금계산서), Korean-language CS
- 10K–500K monthly volume — fits the subscription tiers cleanly
Closing
AliExpress API pricing is messy enough that "cheapest" is rarely the right question. Multipliers, billing edge cases, actor maintenance risk — sticker price often differs from real cost by 5–10×.
The right question is "which fits our use case?" Raw scraping wins for some teams; structured + image search wins for others. Korean sellers tend to fall hard into the second bucket — that's why we built Apinoa.
