Translate the text
inside product images.
Send a product image in Chinese, Japanese or English and get it back translated, with the font weight, colours, layout and sale badges kept. $0.003 per image; failed calls are free.

What can the image translation API do?
Translate replaces every line of text in a product image with its translation and redraws it in place: titles, spec tables, price tags and badges keep their colours, weight and backdrop, so the listing is ready to publish in another market.
Want to draw the text yourself? Ask for the regions instead and get the cleaned image with each region's text, translation, box, colours and weight as JSON. OCR reads the text alone, and you can upload your own font to match a brand.

Frequently asked questions
Which languages does it translate?
It reads Chinese (simplified and traditional), Japanese and English, and translates into any language. Korean, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Latin-script targets render best.
How do I send the image?
As raw bytes in the request body (JPEG, PNG or WebP), with the languages in the query string. The API reference has cURL, JavaScript and Python examples.
What do I get back?
The translated JPEG by default. With render=false, the cleaned image and every text region with its text, translation, box, colours and weight, as JSON.
Can I use my own font?
Yes. Upload a font to your account and pass it as font=user/123 (its id). Glyphs it lacks fall back to a bundled font.
How much does it cost?
$0.003 per image at the base rate, less as your daily volume grows. No plan and no monthly fee: you top up a balance and each image is charged from it.
Am I charged when a call fails?
No. A call that fails is not billed, and an image with no text comes back unchanged.
